In the spotlight.

In the spotlight this month is Councillor Jonathan Owen (Cons.) from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Jonathan is the Portfolio holder for Adults, Health and Care and the Chair of East Riding Health and Wellbeing Board. 

Jonathan lead the charge with a Notice of Motion, produced in collaboration with other councillors. The motion passed unanimously with the full council voting in favour of the motion.  

The East Riding of Yorkshire council in collaboration with focus groups from their constituency, have produced their Strategy for Unpaid Carers for 2026 - 2030, which you can find in our councillors area.
