Covid 19 Day of Reflection March 9th, 2025

Sunday 9th March 2025 is the first National Covid-19 Day of Reflection

Regions across the UK will see communities take part in the first National Covid-19 Day of Reflection.

The day of reflection aimed at bringing communities together to remember those who were lost during the pandemic, and to show our support to those who still suffer with long covid symptoms and those still infected with the virus.

During the height of the pandemic, over 7million people lost their lives worldwide, and still over 700million people show signs of the virus, we come together to remember them.

We will be holding the event outside the Harlow Civic Centre in Harlow Town Centre where we will be holding a 5 minute period of reflection to mark the 5th anniversary of the start of the global pandemic from 1pm.

We have teamed up with Harlow Council and the Harlow Men's Shed for their tree of remembrance, we will be handing out wooden hearts for you to write a personal message on, which will be installed on their "Doorway of Remembrance" that will be installed in the Civic Centre in the coming days.

We will be collecting your personal messages at the end of the period of reflection on Sunday.
